Agadir, the iconic seaside resort of southern Morocco, enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year and a 10 km bay of fine sand. But beyond the beaches, the Souss-Massa region offers treasures to explore: the surf spots of Taghazout, the Berber villages of the Anti-Atlas, the Paradise Valley and the gateways to the Sahara.
Maroc Elite Transport offers a range of vehicles suited to southern Morocco. Our city cars are perfect for Agadir and Essaouira, our sedans for long trips to Marrakech, and our 4x4 SUVs for the Anti-Atlas and the tracks to Taroudant, Tiznit and Sidi Ifni. Every rental includes comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage and 24/7 assistance.
Agadir is ideally located to explore the south. Essaouira and its ramparts are 2h30 to the north. The Souss-Massa National Park is home to the last bald ibises. Taroudant, the "little Marrakech", is 1h30 away in the Souss valley. And for adventurers, Ouarzazate and the Merzouga dunes are reachable via the Tizi n'Test road.

Driving in Agadir is very pleasant, with wide avenues and little traffic. The seafront and the corniche make for an easy drive. Parking is plentiful and inexpensive (guarded car parks 10-20 MAD). The road to Taghazout follows the coast with spectacular views.
For excursions, the main roads are excellent. The motorway to Marrakech (3h) crosses the argan plantations. The road to Essaouira hugs the ocean. For the Anti-Atlas (Taroudant, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni), the roads are paved but winding – an SUV adds comfort. The desert tracks require a 4x4 and ideally a local guide.
